Tracking Progress - ShareYaarNow

You need to measure result from your events to know whether you are improving or not.

Measurement is the first step in improving anything. If you don't measure, you'll never know what's working and what isn't. And if you can't measure the results of your event, how will you know when it's time to change course?

The most important thing to measure is whether participants found value in attending your event. Was it worth their time and money? Were they able to apply what they learned? Did they meet their goals with new contacts, leads or customers?

If so, then congratulations! You've got a winner on your hands. Now you can use that information to improve future events by making them shorter or more targeted toward a specific audience demographic. If not, then maybe you should consider tweaking your event concept before wasting too much time and money on it again.

Here are some metrics that you can use to evaluate the success of your event:

1. Number of attendees;

2. Average ticket price;

3. Number of repeat attendees;

4. Feedback from attendees (surveys);

5. Positive word-of-mouth (social media, blog posts, etc.);

6. Attendee Engagement Metrics: These metrics measure how people engage with the content at the event, and they include things like what percentage of attendees took a quiz, watched a video, or used an app. You can also look at how many people clicked through to an external site.

These metrics are good for knowing whether people are getting value out of the content, but they don't tell you anything about whether they're actually taking action on it. For example, if someone watches a video about customer service training but doesn't apply any of the tips in their day-to-day life, then it's unlikely that the training will have much impact on their business or career growth.

There may well be other metrics that you may need to track for your particular events. Continually tracking metrics will help you grow your events.
