If you are planning an event to launch a new product or service - after your event, keep up the momentum.

A number of times I’ve seen people do launch events for a new service or product but after a short while you don’t hear about it again. 

You obviously need to have a game plan about how you are going to take things forward after your launch event. You can’t just expect to do the launch event then hope things will just carry on by themselves. People will not take you seriously if you don’t plan your strategy in advance and take follow-up action after you launch.

The response you get to your launch event may not be what you expected. But your plans should cater for that eventuality. 

Your launch event may give you an initial boost but you need a plan to keep up the momentum.
