More Ideas to Help Your Audience in Virtual Events - ShareYaarNow

Perhaps you're one of the organizations that has had to cancel or postpone events. If so, we hope you're doing what you can to help your audience stay connected virtually.

If you're running virtual events, another benefit you can give your regular audience, if they want, is to share links to their website or social media during your event, so other audience members can connect with them. You can also share links to upcoming events.

This is an especially useful feature in the networking portion of the event. By allowing others to click and connect with attendees that they'd like to get to know better, it helps build connections and potentially create new business opportunities.

Virtual events make it more difficult to network, but you can help make up for that. A good way to do this is to create a post-event virtual community where people can continue the conversation.

Interestingly, there's no reason you can't do this at on-site events, too. For example, if you have a bunch of people who follow and support you on Twitter, and if they're in the audience, you could ask them to stand up and be recognized. (That's a live event tip for next time.)

This option also helps you build goodwill so people will continue returning for future events.
