Speaking Means Listening

Speaking Means Listening - ShareYaarNow

Event organizers need to be willing to listen. Even as an event speaker, it's important to listen to your audience.

Your attendees may be the best source of information about what they want out of your event, and what they're willing to spend money on. You should be taking their feedback seriously — even if it means that you have to make some changes.

If you can understand what they're looking for and why, you can deliver on that and give them the best possible experience.

It's also important because it will help you find out if there are any issues with the way things are going or if there are any problems with certain aspects of the event. There may be some changes that need to be made or improvements that need to be made in order for things to run smoothly.

Audiences have a lot of questions about events — from ticketing to parking and everything in between. Answering these questions helps them feel confident about their purchase and reduces their anxiety about attending your event.

There are many ways to reach out and ask questions of your audience: online surveys, social media posts, or phone calls can all be effective ways to get feedback from your attendees. If you want to get even more specific, you can do one-on-one (online) interviews with attendees after the event is over.
