As an event professional, when you engage with your audience online, see
what they like and follow to know more about your audience. More on our earlier

Here are some ideas of what to look for:

What do they share on social media?

What hashtags do they use?

What content do they consume online and offline?
-
How do they interact with each other online?
-
What are they saying online?
There are tools available that can help you do this. The important thing to remember is that this process should be organic; don't force it if it doesn't feel right.
But it is a continuous process of observing the trends.
The point is to get a sense of where
they are coming from and how they think so that when you do provide them with events
and content, they will recognize it as relevant and useful.
This will help you create events and content that interest your audience and
add value.
