As an event marketer, how do you get the most bang for your marketing buck in the events ecosystem?

Event marketers can leverage the power of their audience, sponsors, vendors, venues - your stakeholders - to boost their marketing efforts by implementing a few key strategies:

 

·       Make your stakeholders feel like they are part of something special by creating a sense of community at the event. This can be done by offering interactive activities, networking opportunities, or exclusive perks for them.

 

·     Encourage stakeholders to share their experience on social media platforms by offering incentives such as prizes for the most creative posts or the most likes. Utilize hashtags specific to the event to make it easy for them to share and for others to find the content.

 

·    Make it easy for them to share information about the event with their friends and family. Provide flyers, brochures, and other materials that can be easily shared.

 

·       Encourage user-generated content: Encourage stakeholders to take pictures and videos at the event and share them on social media platforms. Offer incentives for the most creative posts or the most likes to increase engagement.

 

·       Make the event a memorable experience that stakeholders will want to share. This can be done by offering unique experiences, interactive activities, or incorporating elements of surprise and delight.

 

·      Provide them with high-quality and unique content. This could be in the form of speakers, entertainment, or activities that can't be found elsewhere.

 

·       Follow-up with your stakeholders after the event to thank them for their participation and to encourage them to continue sharing their experience.
