Finding Your Target Audience

Finding Your Target Audience

Finding your target audience based on demographics is one thing. But what about finding your target audience based on their values?

Value-based consumer segmentation is another way to target your potential audience.

This is a great way to create a marketing strategy that will resonate with people who share your values. You’ll be able to create content that speaks directly to them, making it more likely they will connect with you and become customers or clients.

What are your values and how can you find your audience that has similar values?

Value-based segmentation is all about identifying differences between consumers based on their attitudes, beliefs and behaviors. You can segment consumers based on their attitudes, which are beliefs about a person or situation, and their beliefs about themselves and others. You can also segment them based on their behaviors, which are actions taken by people as a result of their attitudes or beliefs.

For example, let's say that you want to start a business selling organic food products. You might want to know how many people there are who purchase organic foods and what motivates them to do so. So, you could ask survey questions like "How many times per week do you buy organic food?" or "Why do you buy organic food?"

This requires insights into consumer behavior. Marketing research and, probably, some marketing tools to help with this, would be required.
