What can you learn from ‘Culture Technology’?


The term ‘Culture Technology’ was started in South Korea and created as a method to promote K-Pop artists abroad.

As an event professional or an individual hosting your own events, you should study this phenomenon to see how you might be able to apply it to your event brand.

Perhaps, not all of the principles and the stages used in ‘Culture Technology’ will be applicable to your events but you may glean some ideas for yourself, especially in the marketing stage.

You may have heard of omni-channel marketing of products and services. With the pop stars, to expand their appeal, they would use ‘omni-directional marketing’ to get their stars into fashion, lifestyle, TV, films and other entertainment, sports, etc.

This ‘omni-directional marketing’ principle, you might be able to apply to your event brand perhaps.

It seems similar to what is taking place with Bollywood stars.
