Corporate Training Events

Conducting corporate training events is a great way to build your event brand and can be the foundation of a long-lasting relationship with your clients. As the event planner and trainer, you need to thoroughly justify the value you give to the company. Here are some ideas: · Let them know how you can help them grow their business. · Explain how you will help them improve their own business strategies and processes. · Show them how they can save time and money. · Show them how they can increase their revenues. · Obviously, the person in charge of training at the company is an important contact for you to demonstrate the skills and expertise you have in your field. You can do this through blogs, podcasts or if you've been a speaker at various events to show your past experience. · ...

Venues as Marketing Channels

Destinations and event venues have to do more to market themselves. They should stop thinking of themselves simply as destinations or event venues, but rather as marketing channels for event professionals and their attendees. They are in the experience business. Events are no longer just an opportunity for attendees to gather together in one location for a few days; they’re now a part of the overall experience of traveling to a destination. They play an important role in shaping how people view destinations and what they expect from their experiences there. They should be willing to work with all stakeholders — local governments, tourism boards, chambers of commerce, etc. — in order to get out there and promote their destination as a whole. Keeping up with technology so event organizers and professionals can get the services they need for their clients, is important. If you've got a small event venue that caters to your local community, you're competing with coworking spaces, s...

The Yoga Way

Yoga marketing is a thing and it's become a big thing on social media. There are a lot of influencers on social media who provide marketing services specifically geared towards yoga instructors to help them grow their business. Yoga, and fitness in general, is a huge trend on social media with so many people creating content, following and interacting online. This is yet another marketing opportunity for your events and event marketing. If you have an event coming up, why not consider partnering with an influencer for that event? It could be as simple as posting about their class or workshop on your website or as complex as having them create videos about the event for their followers. This can be a great way to get your brand in front of new people who may not know about you otherwise. If you're looking for some fresh ideas about how you can use social media for your next event, then keep reading! ----------------------------------------------- We welcome your feedback on this...

Increase the Value

The more value your audience gets from your events, the better word-of-mouth marketing you will probably get. If you want to think of your events as a 'product', the better your product, the more your audience will speak well about it to others. Improving the quality and content of your events will help in the long run. Improved content can attract better speakers and sponsors. One way is by giving them more than expected. If someone comes along expecting an hour long talk on a subject they are interested in but then find out there is going to be another guest speaker as well who has something different to say on that same topic, this person may feel like they got more value than what they paid for (and hopefully enjoyed both speakers). These are probably the main reasons people attend events: Entertainment – want to have fun and relax Education – want to learn something new or improve skills Inspiration – want to be inspired by great stories and speakers Business - want to in...

Getting Sponsors for Your Events

Event marketing is a powerful tool for bringing people together and building community, but it can be difficult to attract sponsors for your events. Fortunately, there are a few strategies that you can use to increase your chances of success: · Identify the right sponsors: Not all sponsors are a good fit for your event. Make sure you research potential sponsors and find ones that align with your event's goals and values. · Create a compelling sponsorship proposal: Your sponsorship proposal should clearly outline the benefits of sponsoring your event, including the audience demographics, potential exposure, and any additional perks or incentives. Potential sponsors may want to see some data about your events. · Leverage social proof: If you have previously worked with sponsors or have testimonials from past sponsors, then this can help to build trust and credibility with potenti...

Technology is Turning Everyone into Event Marketers

Nowadays, with technology, it has never been easier to live stream your own events. And this has made so many people conduct their own virtual events, and, hence, into event marketers. You can now promote yourself, your products and services through events so quickly and easily. But just because going live is so quick and easy, doesn’t mean you’ll attract attention from the audience you want. How do you grow your events and build your event brand when there are so many events happening out there at any point in time? When you're established in your business, you may have big budgets to market your events. But what do you do when you're just starting out? Or you’re an individual hosting your own events? How do you grow your audience in such a crowded market? As the Ebook with the same title suggests, you really have to up your game. You need a coordinated event and content marketing strategy to grow your events. Event marketing is a continually changing field but ...

The Power of Live Events!

AI is an extremely useful tool for everyone. But with so much AI generated content out there, it can be difficult to know what’s real or not. For brands, live events (face-to-face (F2F) as some are calling it) will become more valuable and important to build trust and grow brands. As an event creator, you play an increasingly important role in marketing and brand building . Maybe, some corporations and brands don’t realize just how important. Events are the engine that drive the Creator Economy : • Content generation for the event creator and other stakeholders (audience, performers, speakers, sponsors, venues, suppliers, media, influencers). • Audience engagement and community. • Dialogue between audience and brand that continues beyond the event itself. • Brands and brand collaborations. • Asset value – your event brand can be an asset. • The economy – economies of cities can be lifted through major events. • And, Trust! Event creators, your events are having a bigger impact on y...
