Influencers are the people who have the power to drive your event's success. They have established credibility and a large following - they are well-known in their niche and can help you attract more attendees.
The key to getting them interested in your events lies in understanding their goals, needs and interests. Influencers want to be recognized as experts in their field. They want to be seen as an authority on a topic and they want to build their brand.

Pitching to an influencer: Include a personal touch if possible (for example, mention if you've been following one of their social media accounts); Include details about why this event is interesting for them, i.e., why would they want to attend/support it? What will make them stand out from other attendees? There are many ways to go about this - think outside of the box here! You don't need to just tell them how great their name recognition would be at your event, but also how they can help shape the future of whatever industry you're talking about by being there (e.g., connecting with other thought leaders).
Influencers can obviously promote your event on social media, but there is more you can do to ensure they are happy with the experience and will promote it.
First of all, make sure that the influencers have everything they need at the event venue.
Secondly, if they are going to be promoting your event online, make sure that you have a good hashtag for them to use, which includes your brand name and event name hashtags. You should also provide them with any other information about the event that will help them promote it effectively such as speaker names or topics covered at the event, etc.
