Today's digital economy is dominated by major platforms, i.e., Amazon, Google, Facebook. In the coming Metaverse, their influence will, most likely, grow. These have the most users and they probably get the majority of digital ad spend.
There are of course other digital platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter that are also useful.
As an event organizer you need to learn to make the most out of them to grow your events.
You need a strategy that will, over time, spread the word about your events and brand across these platforms.
For example, if you're selling your products you might first think of doing this through Amazon. But if you're also using event marketing to promote your products, have you thought of advertising your events on Amazon? Or even if you don't sell products, you could advertise your events on Amazon. A lot of people are obviously aware of advertising on Google and Facebook, but so many service providers, event organizers don't think about using Amazon to market themselves.
You should learn as much as you can about these major digital platforms to get the most bang for your buck.
