We are all a part of the event industry, and we all have our own stories to tell. 

We all need inspiration. It can be hard to get off the ground sometimes, especially when we have big goals or dreams, we want to achieve. Events can be a great place to find ideas that inspire us and help us achieve our goals.

We know how important events are for your business. They can be an incredible way to connect with your audience, build relationships and grow your brand.

Further to our earlier blog post: ‘Event Marketing Campaign’, here are some more actionable ideas to get your events growing and your audience inspired!

When you've got an event planned, plan and create a marketing campaign around a theme that ties into the topic of your event. For example: 

  • If you're hosting a workshop focused on blogging, create a blog post series leading up to the workshop that helps attendees prepare for it by showing them how to use blogging to grow their business or audience.
  • In the run-up to your event, schedule a live Q&A - online perhaps Ask your audience what they're curious about and answer their questions in real time.
  • Share a few sneak peeks of what you'll be talking about at the event. This is a great way to generate excitement and start conversations with people who might be interested in attending.
  • Post links to articles related to the topic of your event that you think your followers would find useful. Don't just share content that promotes yourself; include information that will help them too!
  • Urgency and scarcity: there's a deadline for your events. Without this, it can make it more difficult for people to act on your Call-to-Action. There may be a limited number of places available for your events. Use this scarcity as a motivator.
