Showing ‘Expertise’ in Your Field

Showing ‘Expertise’ in Your Field

You need to show some level of ‘expertise’ or knowledge in your field. Whatever field you are in, people, when they attend an event, your event, want to see and know that they are watching or listening to someone with knowledge and skill in their field.

To show this knowledge or ‘expertise’ to your audience takes time. For example, writing a blog, doing a podcast or video that, over a period of time, will show your audience what level of knowledge you have in your field.

When your potential audience can see your ‘back catalogue’ of these blogs, podcasts or videos, they can make a judgment about what they might expect from attending or joining in one of your events.

This takes time and effort. You should put in as much effort as you can to becoming knowledgeable in your particular field. And, being able to demonstrate that knowledge to your event audience.
