Making Yourself Stand Out

Making Yourself Stand Out

How do you make yourself stand out from the crowd? How will you distinguish yourself from all the other live streamers out there?  This is the million-dollar question!

This is a slightly different issue from what is your USP (unique selling proposition). To me, if you are doing events, making yourself stand out is more of a branding issue while your USP is more to do with the value or benefit you can give to your audience.

There are no simple or easy answers to this.

I notice that a number of business coaches, mentors and motivational speakers have their own unique catchphrase or slogan that they regularly use on their social media to stand out. This can make them stand out in the crowd. This can be a start to creating their brand name.

You’ll notice DJs and gamers will quite often use a made-up, catchy name for themselves.

Also, I see a number of people give their events a unique title that they then use for all their events. Again, this can be a start to creating a brand.

It takes time to get noticed and to grow your event audience.

Having a unique name, catchphrase or event title is not, by itself, enough to give value to your audience (for me, that’s your USP – see 'Your Unique Selling Proposition') but it can help create name/brand recall for your audience.

Hope these event marketing ideas help. Stay tuned for more...
