If you are conducting regular events, you need to stick to your published schedule as much as possible. It damages your brand when your audience are finding that your schedule is not regular and your events don’t take place when they expect. Eventually your audience will go elsewhere.
If you don’t conduct regular events but do events only when you can, then try to give some advance notice to your audience.
If you have to cancel an event then please give notice beforehand to your audience if possible. It does not help your brand if your audience tries to attend your event only to find that it’s not happening.
These things may be obvious points but we’ve seen it happen. Trying to look after your audience and not wasting their time shows that you care about them (and are not taking them for granted - read our earlier blog post: 'Don’t Take Your Audience for Granted') and you will build a better following because of it.
Hope these event marketing ideas help. Stay tuned for more...
