It's important for you as an event host to be able to see where your strengths lie so that you can provide value for your audience.
One of the biggest issues that people have when it comes to hosting events is that they don't know what their niche is. They are unsure as to who exactly their audience is and what kind of events they should be putting on in order to attract that audience.
In order for you to do this effectively, you need to know what your audience want and need so that you can provide them with exactly what they are looking for.
This is where finding your niche comes into play!
It’s easy to get lost in the sea of options when it comes to finding an event niche. You may feel overwhelmed with all of the choices available, but know that there are many different ways to find a niche that will make you stand out from the crowd.
Here are some questions to help you figure out your niche: What do you like doing? What makes you happy? What are your skills? What do you have expertise in? What topics do people ask you about? What can you talk about for hours, but not get bored with? What do other people do that annoys or frustrates you? Is there a way to solve this problem for yourself or others?
Another way to approach this is It is important to find your niche. You can do this by:
1. Identifying what you want to do and how you want to do it
2. Narrowing down your focus to a specific segment of the market
3. Focusing on what you can offer that others cannot (e.g., local knowledge, experience)
4. Identifying needs within your target audience that are not currently being met, and then developing products/services that meet those needs.
