The holy grail for event professionals would be to give each audience member a personalized experience at their events.
Through the use of event technology, this is coming about. Even though many people may be attending your event, if you can somehow personalize the experience for each audience member, this will give them value and help spread your brand awareness.
Obviously, the first step is to know your audience - what they like, what their goals are, etc.
Perhaps, give each attendee a unique QR code which links back to their profile on your website so that when they scan it on their phone they will receive exclusive content.
One new way to do this is through Augmented Reality (AR). AR has been around for years but it is now becoming available for mass use through smartphones and tablets. Now, it's possible to use AR at events to help attendees have an interactive experience with your brand that can be personalized.
