How do you organize great Q & A sessions at your events?
The Q & A session is one of the most important parts of any event and a great way to engage the audience. It's the moment when attendees can directly connect with speakers and ask questions.
Here are some ideas:
- Obviously, you and the speakers or people on your panel should try to anticipate what questions may arise.
- Have your own questions ready, in case the audience is not forthcoming initially with their questions.
- Make sure the audience ask questions that are relevant - remember that if you go off topic then others in your audience may not appreciate this.
- If you have a panel of speakers, try to make sure it's diverse.
- Have someone moderate the session.
- Questions asked by the audience may give you ideas on future events that might be useful to them.
- Give value to the audience.
