Metaverse experience, who will interact with others to create the brand
footprint and touchpoints in this new medium.
Event brands should have Chief Metaverse Officers to prepare for
what's about to happen!
The Metaverse is in its nascent stages currently but will grow to
dominate the digital economy in the years to come. The Metaverse's more
immersive environment for our day-to-day interactions at work, e-commerce, and
entertainment will determine how brands interact with their audiences.
The brand experience of your company will be defined by how your
products and services are consumed in this new environment; brands will need to
understand how they operate within this new medium, so they don't get left
behind.
Depending on the type of business you are in, the Metaverse will
encompass not just your brand experience but, maybe, your operations also.
Virtual reality (VR). Augmented reality (AR). Mixed reality (MR).
Avatars. Immersive reality (IR). These are all terms used by different
companies to describe what they are building today. As we move from 2D screens
towards immersive experiences, brands will need to create new methods for
connecting with us as consumers and employees.
There will be many hurdles along the way, such as how brands deal
with different proprietary Metaverses from different companies. But Esports and
gaming have become the incubator where a lot of 'Metaverse Tech' first appears.
