Keep up the Momentum


If you have an event that is becoming a great success, don't stop marketing it! Keep up the momentum by continuing to promote your event.

 

If you see momentum building in your events, with repeat attendees and new attendees coming onboard, don't let up in your event marketing as the momentum may not last.

 

Keep up the content flow in your social media, blog, newsletter, videos or podcast.

 

If you have a steady stream of new people attending your events even after the first year, then it's safe to say that you're building a brand that people want to be part of. To keep up the momentum, try:

 

-           Reaching out to influencers in your industry who are happy to share their knowledge as well as their name with your event.

 

-           Including them on your email list and asking them if they would like to speak at future events.

 

-           Connecting with other events that could be mutually beneficial for both parties (e.g., share speakers or venues).

 

-           Encouraging repeat attendance by offering discounts and special offers for regulars at your next event (e.g., early bird tickets, loyalty cards etc.).
