As an event
professional, or even someone simply hosting their own events, you should guide
your audience through each stage of contact with your brand:
- From making your target audience aware of your brand,
- Interacting with your brand – e.g., getting your audience to act on your CTA,
- Attending your event,
- Becoming regular attendees,
- And, if you are using events to promote any services or products, then to purchase them
- Continuing to engage with your brand and becoming fans
Commonly referred to a lifecycle marketing.
At whichever stage the audience are at in this cycle, you should customize your engagement with them to help them go further and add value for them.

“Follow up with your audience after your event. It is very important to continuously get as much feedback as you can from your audience so your events evolve in a way that helps your audience and, therefore, builds your brand.” – extract from the Ebook: ‘Technology is Turning Everyone into Event Marketers’.
