If you do have your own digital real estate then getting users to come to your website/app takes time and effort.
Because there are so many pre-existing digital platforms out there already which enable you to do most things online (see ‘Having Your Own Digital Real Estate’), which users are familiar with, you have to overcome user inertia to get them using your platform.
You need to get some ‘early adopters’ of your platform who will spread the word.
