We have seen many launch events where everything was perfect on the night but then nothing happened afterwards. The result of these launches is that they quickly fade into oblivion because there was no follow-up strategy in place. It seems that people assume that if they had a successful launch event then everything will fall into place afterwards. That is not usually how it works! Do not treat your event audience as though you are having a one night stand!

A lot of event organizers make the mistake of putting all their eggs in one basket when it comes to marketing their products or services. They spend all their time and money on just one thing hoping that it will be successful. But that doesn’t always work because you can’t control how many people see or hear about your product or service. You need to have multiple ways of promoting yourself so that if one doesn’t work, another one might just do the job!
